Welcome to

Litchfield

Litchfield is home to the Ariston Cafe — the oldest continuously operating restaurant on all of Route 66, in business since 1924. It's the most photographed Route 66 restaurant in Illinois.

The Litchfield Museum & Route 66 Welcome Center is the official Illinois Route 66 welcome stop, and the Skyview Drive-In Theatre is still in operation on Route 66.
