2. Breckenridge and Copper Mountain Areas (Frisco, Colorado)

Sunlight Mountain offers some beginner and expert trails, but primarily features runs for intermediate-level skiers. Although, one of it’s most popular slopes is a beginner-level called Ute, which runs 2.5 miles.
5. Beaver Creek Ski Area (Eagle, Colorado)
Beaver Creek is host to an annual men’s ski competition, but that doesn’t mean it’s an expert-only destination. With 150 trails to choose from, there are a variety of options for skiers of all levels. If you’re traveling to Beaver Creek or Vail on a budget, you may want to stay in nearby Eagle, Colorado.
6. Arapahoe Basin Ski Area (Silverthorne, Colorado)
Ski more than 100 trails at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. This ski resort near Loveland Pass boasts a longer season than others nearby, so your trip dates can be a bit more flexible here. There are fewer beginner slopes here (only about 10% of available trails), so this is a better destination for intermediate, advanced and expert skiers.
