Friday through Tuesday nights in July

About the Event

Why go to an aquarium when you can experience one of nature’s most amazing migration patterns firsthand? Female loggerhead turtles return to the beach they were hatched from 20-30 years prior to lay over 100 eggs. At the Sebastian Inlet State Park, you can join in a nighttime ranger-led tour to learn more about Florida’s sea turtles. If you’re lucky, you might see a loggerhead sea turtle nesting. The nesting season is short, and the tours only run through June and July. You can reserve your spot starting on June 15 for a July tour. Florida State Parks has all the information and requirements to participate.
