Built in 1997 and dedicated to scholarly research and public education is the J.Paul Getty Museum. This location is quite popular for the locals to visit and enjoy a collection of different cultural art. Here you will find collections of European, Asian and American art throughout the museum. Stop by The Getty Store and grab Getty exclusives ranging from apparel to jewelry, home decor and more.

Museum of Fine Arts – Boston, Massachusetts

Originally opened in 1876 in Boston, MA is the Museum of Fine Arts. It’s the fourth largest museum in the United States and features over 500,000 works of art from all around the world. In addition, the museum is listed as one of the most comprehensive museums today. Is there a particular area of the arts that you’d like to learn more about? Look no further, because at the Museum of Fine Arts you can sign up for courses and lectures. These courses are taught by visual and performing artists, critics and more.

Smithsonian American Art Museum – Washington, DC

Located in Washington, DC, a city that is rich in culture and attractions, is the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The museum features over 7,000 artists and pieces that date back to the Revolutionary War. Also, it is the nation’s first collection of American art, world’s largest and most inclusive collection of pieces.

Originally founded in 1865 in San Francisco’s Golden Park is the de Young Museum. Reopened in 2005 is a new facility featuring arts, architecture and natural landscapes. At de Young Museum you’ll have the opportunity to attend featured event on Friday nights such as live musical selections, education and more.
