Because Central Florida has become one of the most diverse and culturally rich communities in the state, fantastic International events and one of a kind celebrations take place throughout the year right here in our very own backyard. British Bonfire Night in Kissimmee is one of those must see events we are lucky enough to have in our community each year. Those who attend this family friendly event truly feel as if they have been transported to another world of fun, flair and games for the evening.

With a mix of food, entertainment, and drinks, this festival is the biggest British event in Florida. Taking its cues from Britain’s own Guy Fawkes Day, British Bonfire Night is a great way to feel as if you have traveled to the other side of the “pond” for just one evening. Historically this day was celebrated by the people of London lighting bonfires around the city to celebrate King James I but now everyone can join in for a night of celebration with friends and family during this outdoor festival.

Guy Fawkes Kissimmee

Started by ORB International and the British American Chamber of Commerce in 2008, this festival has grown bigger and better each year while celebrating British culture and history through food, music, and so much more. This year British Bonfire Night will close Central Florida’s Britweek on November 8th . Thousands are expected to attend this vibrant celebration along with Central Florida locals; including visitors from out of state and even those visiting from the United Kingdom. Fun for the entire family, this celebration offers both a cultural and unique way to spend your Saturday evening out on the town.

Open to the public, this event invites people of all ages to come out and join in on the fun. Those in attendance will be celebrating the British culture from 5:30-10pm at Formosa Gardens Boulevard in Kissimmee. Admission to this incredible festival is only $5 per person for a full evening of fun for all!

Proceeds from this event will support Dreamflight. This UK-based charity allows children diagnosed with serious illness or disability to take a once in a lifetime vacation to Orlando.
