Frisbee Golf or Disc Golf as it is also known, has been growing over the past few years into a new sport phenomenon. In most basic terms, the rules are very simple, it’s played just like golf, except instead of using clubs, a frisbee is the only equipment you need.

Players line up at the first “tee” and follow a designated course that ends with each “hole” having a large metal or wooden basket. The goal is to toss the disc into the basket in the fewest amount of throws. Sounds fun, right?

If you haven’t already heard of disc golf, you will soon since the sport has more than doubled the amount of courses around the world in the last decade. If you are interested in playing, you can find frisbee golf in places from your local park, to full 18 hole championship courses in places like Finland, England and the United States.
