Whether you’re visiting Flagstaff or just passing through, you must make time for a meal at Fratelli Pizza. Not only is each pizza handmade with premium fresh ingredients and baked in a stone deck oven, but also the service is incredible. We recently tried the meat lover’s pizza at Fratelli and were amazed – it’s genius to include extra cheese on a meat lover’s! Pure pizza genius.
Paradox Pizza (Moab, UT)
With a name like Paradox Pizza, you might be thinking that this pizzeria will challenge your idea of what a pizza is. You’re right. With fresh dough made daily, quality ingredients and a thin-crust style even the Italian tourists rave about, you’ve got to try this pizza. We recommend ordering a pie with the house-made meatballs on it, or for veggie-lovers The Fun Guy is scrumptious.
The Pie Pizzeria (Salt Lake City, UT)
If you’re looking for the best pizza joint in Salt Lake City, The Pie is your only option. Located near the University of Utah, this underground pizza operation has been the go-to for college students and faculty for years. You’ll find excellent options with lots of flavor (even gluten-free pizzas!) in this brick-walled hang out. We recommend the Holy Shiitake Pie or the Thai Pie for a unique and delicious pizza experience.
Pablo’s Pizza (Grand Junction, CO)
One thing’s for sure: Pablo knows his pizza. You could create your own, but you probably shouldn’t, because the pizza creations at Pablo’s in Grand Junction are other-worldly. We love the Aloha!, La Chupacabra, Mr. Mean Mustard and… actually we love them all. Check out the menu and see what you’re in the mood for.
Do Drop Inn (Pueblo, CO)
There is no other pizza in the world quite like the pizza at Do Drop Inn in Pueblo, Colorado. The signature of this pie is the thick, sweet sourdough crust. That, mixed with a savory sauce and plentiful toppings is the key to true pizza bliss. The thick crust is filling, but don’t worry – the leftovers are amazing just like all pizza leftovers. We suggest picking up a pie from Do Drop before heading to the local drive-in movie theater. It will make for the perfect date night.

Back Road supports local agriculture by using fresh local ingredients and serving local beer on tap. Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, you don’t want to miss this pizza joint. Also, not to be disloyal to our love of pizza, but the calzones at Back Road are unbelievably good.
