If you’re an ambitious food lover, visiting Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival, should definitely be on your Foodie Bucket List. This is my second year attending the popular event and this year far surpassed lasts. Of course, I think a lot of that has to do with the nifty Food & Wine Discovery Passport.

This handheld little booklet allows visitors to locate each country and the meals and beverages that they would be offering. What a genius idea! This could have existed previous years but for some reason, we didn’t get our hands on it until this year. The passport helped us decide what eats we wanted. Of the 29 food, beer and cheese kiosks, we only managed to get around to 7. How people are able to get to each kiosk without wanting to curl up and take a nap in between stops is beyond me. We’re going to try to attend the Festival again next year and get to more kiosks. Of course we’ll both have to lose a good 10 lbs ahead of time as to not feel so guilty. 😉

Of the 7 places we visited, the Taste of Scandinavia was by far my favorite. This plate included cured salmon, herring and shrimp salad. The shrimp salad was just so so but the salmon and herring were both mouth watering delicious.
