Round Top

Located in between Austin and Houston, Round Top, Texas is the home of Antique Week, a twice per year event hosting thousands of antique vendors from around the world. With a population of only 90 people, Round Top is truly a hidden gem in the heart of south Texas. When passing through Round Top, be sure to stay a night at the quaint and quiet Round Top Inn. Round Top is also the home of the famous Junk Gypsies, with their world headquarters less than one mile away from the Round Top Inn. If you’re a fan of all things vintage, unique and antique, Round Top is a must see!

Gruene

About 2 hours southwest of Round Top is another famous small town, Gruene, TX. Gruene is best known for its historic downtown area, antique shops and of course, Gruene Hall. Gruene Hall is the oldest, still standing, still function dance hall in the state of Texas.  Famous acts, such as Willie Nelson, have been one of the many headlining acts at Gruene Hall. Gruene Hall was built in 1878 and continues to be recognized internationally as a tourist attraction and major music venue for up-and-coming as well as the most well established musical acts.

Fredericksburg

About an hour and a half northwest of Gruene is one of Texas’ most famous small towns, visited often by thousands of visitors, Fredericksburg, TX. Fredericksburg was founded in 1846 by German settlers, and has been a German town ever since.  Fredericksburg offers several wineries, restaurants, shops, museums, arts and cultural attractions for all visitors.
