Glitz, glamour, fame and fortune. Are those some of the words that come to mind when you hear “Los Angeles?” You may be right, to a certain extend, however, if you’re not in the Hollywood scene and just stopping in for a quick visit, there’s so much more to Tinsel town that you may know about. 1. Walk Hollywood Blvd

A trip to Los Angeles isn’t complete without a stroll on Hollywood Blvd. Check out the famous “Walk of Fame” and find your favorite celebrity’s star, or pay a visit to your favorite celebrities at Madame Tussauds, a celebrity wax museum. You can also check out a film at the famous Chinese Theatre, grab a few tickets to see Jimmy Kimmel Live, or walk through the Ripley’s Believe it or Not “odditorium.” 

2. Hike Runyon Canyon 

Grab a pair of sneakers and head to LA’s most famous hiking trail, Runyon Canyon. From here, you’ll get the best views from the top. You’ll see the city, the Pacific Ocean and everything in between. You’ll even get a great view of the Hollywood sign and the Griffith Observatory.

3. Discover Rodeo Drive

From Chanel to Gucci, Rodeo Drive is one of the most famous shopping strips in the world. Even if you’re not planning on buying anything, taking a walk down Rodeo Drive is a “must-do” for anyone who travels to Los Angeles. It’s mostly for the experience and to say that you’ve been there.

4. Go on a Studio Tour

See first hand where all the entertainment takes place. From Paramount Studios, to Universal Studios, to Warner Bros. Studios, each studio offers tours to see where movies, commercials and televisions shows are made. If you get there at the right time, you might even be able to see a taping happening right in front of your eyes!

5. Check out Santa Monica 

Los Angeles is famous for its entertainment, but it’s also on the map for its incredible beaches, and Santa Monica is the nearest and dearest. Take a short drive to Santa Monica and walk the pier, ride on the Ferris wheel, and definitely grab a bite to eat and shop at 3rd Street Promenade.

6. Take a Picture with the Hollywood Sign

The most legendary landmark in all of Los Angeles is the famous Hollywood sign on Mount Hollywood. There are plenty of place to stop for a clear picture of if, whether you hike to the sweet spot or drive and find a location.
