The first time you visited New York City, you probably figured out pretty quickly that it’s hard to get everything on your tourist to-do list accomplished in just one trip. The Big Apple is huge and there are so many amazing things to see and do, you definitely need multiple visits to take advantage of all it has to offer. While you might have the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building crossed off your NYC bucket list, you are ready to see a lot more during your next vacation. The following four suggestions will help you get a lot of your time in New York:

1. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

A trip to NYC is not complete without a visit to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. You might not run into any celebrities while you are hanging out in Time Square, but here you can pose for photos with incredible wax likenesses of President Barack Obama, One Direction and Captain Jack Sparrow. As a bonus, you can buy your tickets ahead of time online at the museum’s website, where you also can download the museum’s app and plan your visit. The museum, which opened in Time Square in 2000, has a team of dedicated employees on staff who inspect each and every figure in the early morning hours to be sure they are looking their best for the many selfies they will be part of that day.

2. American Museum of Natural History

Located off Central Park West, the American Museum of Natural History made U.S. News and World Report’s Top 10 List of must-sees in NYC. The museum, which spans four city blocks, contains an incredible 32 million artifacts spread across 25 buildings and 45 exhibition halls. The museum is so large that you’ll probably need a few more visits to take in as much as possible. But, be sure to check out the Hall of the Universe, the Rose Center for Earth and Space and the Butterfly Conservatory.

3. See a Broadway Show

If you didn’t have the chance to see a Broadway show during your first trip to NYC, you should definitely add it to your to-do list for your next visit. The city has a wide variety of musicals, plays and other shows to choose from, so there is something for everybody. In order to avoid the long lines at the theaters, buy your tickets from a website like Telecharge. There, you can purchase tickets to popular performances like Aladdin at New Amsterdam Theatre, The Lion King at Minskoff Theatre and many others.

4. Top of the Rock Observation Deck and Rockefeller Center

The Top of the Rock Observation Deck is located in Rockefeller Center and is definitely a must-see destination for visitors to NYC. You can spend time ice skating in the Center or join the crowd waving at the anchors on the set of the Today show. After checking out the 24 acres of underground restaurants and shops, head to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck and enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city.
